It is apples and oranges, its 2 people not 20. Why cant 2 people whether it be a man/woman, man/man, woman/woman..get a piece of paper saying they are married? You cant use the "its a sin" line either, because everyone of us are sinners - meaning those that are trying to stop them from getting married.

Listen, in states where gay marriage is illegal, and 2 people CHOOSE to be gay, they know the law says otherwise. They CHOSE to be with someone they could never marry. They gave up that right on their own.

Your excuse for why polygamist can't get married came from the Bible... why can't we us it. People like you are trying to make polygamist 2nd class citizens and even tho i don't agree with polygamy it isn't right the way they are treated !!! To answer your question, without reference to the Bible, obviously, the people of California, agree that gay marriage is something they dont want to teach their children is right.
